Common questions
How do downloads work?
Digital files are free. Accept the personal-use license on a product page and we'll create short-lived private download links.
Can I order printed copies?
Not yet. Printed copy checkout is paused until fulfillment is ready. For now, download the files and print them at home.
How do custom photo requests work?
Send one to three photos and a few notes about the place, the memory, and how you want to use the finished page. A human reviews the request and replies by email with fit, timeline, pricing, and the next step.
Do I pay before you review a custom request?
No. Custom work is quoted first. If the request is a good fit, we'll send the scope, price, expected turnaround, and payment step before production begins.
How long does custom work take?
Most simple custom pages are quoted with a turnaround measured in business days, not weeks. If you have a birthday, trip, classroom date, or event deadline, include it in your note so we can tell you what is realistic.
What photos work best?
Clear daylight photos with the main building, view, trail, room, or landmark unobstructed work best. If the photo is too dark, too crowded, or too low resolution, we'll say so before quoting.
What paper works best?
US Letter or A4 paper at 100–120 GSM gives the smoothest coloring experience.
Can I use these in a classroom?
Personal use is included for free downloads. For classroom, group, commercial, venue, client, or resale use, contact us for a license so the rights are clear.
Who owns the rights to a custom page?
By default, custom pages are for personal keepsake use by the customer who ordered them. Broader rights, including classroom, business, venue, client, or resale use, need to be agreed in writing before work begins.
Can you draw a private home or personal place?
Usually, yes, if you have the right to share the reference photos and the finished use is appropriate. We do not publish personal custom work as a catalog product without permission.
